The cottage is situated in the Hérault region in the Haut Languedoc National Park. Riols, a small village with its own bakery, football pitch and a tennis court. It has been awarded the status of a “village fleuri”. There is a public walkway (piste verte) which runs next to the cottage which is ideal for walking or cycling along or simply walking to the nearing town of St. Pons which is 4km away.
Riols can easily be reached by road or is served by the following airports:-
Montpellier -1hr 30mins, Carcasonne 1 hr 30 mins, Toulouse 2 hours or Perpignan 2 hours.
